Priceline Hotel: How to win Westin Diplomat resort & Spa,FLL?

Hi! Please help I want to book Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa in Fort Lauderdale for our post cruise for one night Aug 15-16, 2014. Can you please let me know how to bid for this? Thank you.

You can't bid on a specific hotel when using PRICELINE, you have to be able to accept any hotel in the zone at the star level (or higher) that you choose. With HOTWIRE you can often take an educated guess as to what is being offered based upon the amenities associated with the property, but it's still a 'best guess' and no guarantees you will receive the hotel you're hoping for. As well, HOTWIRE only shows one hotel at each star level per zone, so there is a chance the hotel you're hoping for isn't the one which is offered for your particular dates.

Are you wiling to accept a hotel other than the Westin or is this the only property you're willing to stay in for this trip?

chicaholic4ever - the Westin Diplomat appears to be sold out for that night.  No rooms are available for that date. 

 

If you're looking for another set of dates, check on HOTWIRE.  If you bid through Price.line, you have a 50% chance or more of getting the Crowne Plaza or maybe even the Marriott Hollywood Beach hotel.  It's safer just to check on Hot.wire.  Look for a 4 Star Resort on Hollywood Beach with 95% recommendation and no listing of 'free internet'.

If the hotel is listed as sold out on the website, there is still the possibility of inventory on the discount services.
