Hey guys,

I booked through HOTWIRE in the past many times.

Now, I'm looking for a hotel both in Amsterdam and Berlin and it seems to be that the prices are very high and not attractive at all.

How many days before my travel dates you think i should book.

There is no "best time" to book - it's really a "case-by-case" basis, depending entirely on your set of date/s and whether or not something is going on on your date/s that's causing higher prices.

 

What are your date/s of travel and desired budget per night for this stay?

There is no way to ensure Free Breakfast when bidding on PRICELINE, if this is a must have you'll need to use HOTWIRE or PRICELINE EXPRESS and choose a property showing the Free Breakfast amenity.

Note that rates may be high due to the hotels being busy this time of year or for your specific dates and not because your stay is 3 weeks away (and give 3 weeks is not that much time i would assume the former rather than the later)

i would like to book a hotel in Amsterdam between 5/5-9/5 4 nights, 1 double room

for instance there is a 5 * hotel in the city center - dam square,

amenities internet and score 8 from guests.

A 5* isn't within your budget. Amsterdam is extremely busy for your dates and the inventory is slim. I think you're looking at a 3* (maximum) with this budget for City Center.

 

You need to look at other zones and re-think about your budget if you want to go higher then 3* (unless you want to stay at the airport).
