I am considering a Hot.wire Deal, needing help determining the hotel before pulling the trigger:

5* Chelsea - Knightsbridge - Harrods area

Amenities:

Free Internet

Pet Friendly

90% recommended

retail $498/ night

Anyone help would be very much appreciated!

My guess is it is the Draycott. I put in one traveler and my concern is I will get one of their tiny rooms with a trundle bed as shown on their website.  I went back and added two travelers on the HOTWIRE site and it was not shown as an option. I might should add two travelers in all my searches to avoid this possibility.

Thanks again.

I believe there may have been more amenities than you listed in your post. HOTWIRE has a new interface which is not currently showing the complete set of amenities at the usual point of the search process.

Please run a new search using our BiddingHelper.com tool at the top of this page. Once the search is completed, use the EASY VIEW TAB and click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing to view the complete set of amenities. Then copy and paste the amenities, as well as the price, in a reply to this thread and we will then have a look at this offer.

Using the BiddingHelper.com method above this is the amenity set i'm seeing for the 5* hotel in this zone when searching for 1adult:

Free Internet

Pet Friendly

Hi-Speed Internet

If this is what you're seeing, i would agree that the Draycott would be a possibility, but as this property has not yet been reported to the board and/or we have not yet had feedback from any users who have stayed here on a HOTWIRE purchase for one adult, i can't say what type of room you would be assigned.

What is your maximum budget for this trip? Is this the only zone you're interested in?

Thank you for the tip on the BiddingHelper.com. I am absolutely open to most  of the areas, looking for a 4star or higher but

probably over thinking the decision. I'm a single male, late 30's professional, first trip overseas. I am spending several days

solo before meeting up with friends so while I do not want to be in the middle of the busy hustle and bustle party scene I am

wanting to mingle and grab drinks each evening somewhere comfortable. I am not really attracted to the really super touristy

spots, but will enjoy getting out to the markets, the pubs, and explore for good food, maybe pick one museum.

Any suggestions would be super helpful, London seems so big I am having a hard time making a decision and the hotels

are more difficult to know exactly what you are getting.

Thanks again,

What appears to be the Park Plaza Riverbank London is offered on HOTWIRE for $156/nite... would this be of any interest?

I'm far from the London expert, but i entered the address of this into our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com and when clicking on the hotel (either on the map or clicking on the list on the lefthand side) will open the infowindow for this hotel). Inside the infowindow is a link to show you how far away are bars, restaurants, etc. This hotel appears to be closer to a variety of nightlife but not in the middle of it all yet still accessible via the nearby tube station.

Your thoughts? (there are some other higher rated hotels closer to your maximum budget which i'll try to take a look at later but have to head for a bit now)

This is a very nice option for the price and I will definitely consider it, hoping to pull the trigger on something this weekend.

Do you have a suggestion for the Chelsea-KInghtbridge or maybe Knotting Hill area? I would like to see something in a

little more slower venue, close to some good pubs if possible. Maybe i do both, 2 nights at each spot to get a taste of

2 different areas.

I really appreciate your time!

I believe I have found a great spot that seems to have just about everything I am looking for and located in an

excellent location per all the reviews, maybe the best location reviews I have seen. Are there any HOTWIRE OR

PRICLINE deals on this hotel?

Citadines Prestige Trafalgar Square London

Thanks!

No, the Citadines Prestige has never been reported to the board as a PRICELINE or HOTWIRE hotel.

All reported PRICELINE and HOTWIRE hotels can be found in this link: London Hotels

But have in mind that you can't pin point PRICELINE hotels when bidding.

The idea behind the opaque providers is that you can usually get a very deep discount in exchange for being flexible in terms of which hotel you will receive... if you pick the hotel you want and then hope to win it thru PRICELINE or HOTWIRE, you are likely setting yourself up for disappointment.

If you're looking for a hotel in a specific location you can also try our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com where you can search almost any address in the world and see hotels near that location, easily being able to see how much more/less it would cost to go up/down in star rating or to stay closer/further from your ideal location.

Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.

Let us know whatever you decide to do for this stay or how we can be of further help.

I need help please identifying a 4* London Hotwire Hotel  in the Kensington/Earls Court zone

Hotwire 100% recommended

4*

Free Internet

Smoke free

Restaurant/s

Fitness Center

Business Center

Nothing I have seen on the 4* BBidding Hotel List for this zone has anything close to this 100% recommended rating.

I want to jump on it but want to try to verify if I can.

Please keep all posts in the same thread since posts are for the same stay.

I can't get the same hotel to appear on my standard search for 2 adults. How many rooms/adults/children did you search for? Are you still searching for 5/31-6/4?

Please run a new search using our BiddingHelper.com tool at the top of this page. Once the search is completed, use the EASY VIEW TAB and click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing to view the complete set of amenities.
