gafiltafish Posted April 10, 2014 Report Share Posted April 10, 2014 Initially set my bid for $50 (from reading much older posts on here) and was told that if I want the hotel to raise it to $59 which I did because it was still cheaper than other motels and hotels in the area that aren't known for bedbugs! Ended up getting the Travelodge. Was hoping for Vagabond or Best Western but for 1 night, it's fine. A little annoyed to find out that they don't accept dogs over 25 pounds but when speaking on the phone to the receptionist, it doesn't seem like that it's really enforced (traveling with my 55 pound Border Collie who is an emotional support dog. I requested a ground floor so she put the request in. All rooms are nonsmoking with a mini fridge so I'm happy about that.
