World Trade. Good location close to the places I want to shop and tour. I've stayed there before and I just really enjoyed my stay. Clean, easy and good lattes.

 

I'm fine with any hotel I guess but the Doubletree is a little too South East. Club quarters world trade is probably as south as I would like to be.

 

Should I search in a different area instead?

It depends which other zones would be convenient for your plans this trip and how the other zone would compare to the location of the (guessed) Doubletree.

I'm also seeing what i believe to be the Millenium Hilton for $220/nite if this would be a better location for your plans, but it is a little more expensive than the hotel above... what is your budget for this trip?
