Priceline Hotel: help bidding 3*~3.5* on 10/10~10/15

We will go to NYC on 2014/10/10~2014/10/15, need 2 rooms

My bidding zones are TS, MW, SoHo, ESB, MSG, Chelsea or any other zone in NYC. I'm looking at 3*~ 3.5* hotels. My budget is around $100, max up to $125.

Can you give me some advice how to bidd？ tkx

At current rates (and unless something changes drastically over the next few months) your budget is not realistic for this time of year.

Using our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com, what is the best rate you're able to find for an acceptable 3* or better hotel in one of the zones you've listed above?

We will suggest a strategy for whatever amount you decide so you can at least try, but what will you do if not successful up to $125/nite?
