thereuare Posted April 10, 2014 Report Posted April 10, 2014 Welcome to BetterBidding! The Hilton Grand Vacation Suites on the Las Vegas Strip would be my best guess for this one. newman422 Posted April 10, 2014 Author Report Posted April 10, 2014 In town for a conference at MGM and staying an extra night. MGM conference rates are $150 but location is too far South for the "fun" night. Like to be closer to Ceasar's and north to TI. Budget would be $150. Bally's and the like are $300 rack which is crazy.
thereuare Posted April 10, 2014 Report Posted April 10, 2014 PRICELINE EXPRESS has a 5* hotel in the Strip North zone for your dates with a 9.0/10.0 user review: Outdoor Pool Free Parking Restaurant Business Center Casino Fitness Center Condo ... which i'm guessing to be the Palazzo. It's priced at $169/nite but perhaps worth the extra $20 over your budget for a well reviewed 5* hotel and big jump in star rating? If not, what about bidding for a 4* or 5* hotel on PRICELINE? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. newman422 Posted April 10, 2014 Author Report Posted April 10, 2014 I plan to rebid using PL - messed up and have to wait until tomorrow to start again. Do you think I could get a 5* for $150? I'd be happy with TI or Mirage for $110 ;-)
thereuare Posted April 11, 2014 Report Posted April 11, 2014 You can try $150 (strategy below) but if that is rejected there is a discount link and code in my signature for 10% OFF PRICELINE EXPRESS... this would bring the $169/nite 5* PRICELINE EXPRESS hotel above down to $152/nite and would be worth the extra $2 for the 5* hotel (imo). If you want to first try bidding for a 5* in the Strip North only, you can do so as follows: When bidding 5* in Las Vegas you have ELEVEN re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding. Select 5* Strip North... Bid $115, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $120, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $125, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $130, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $133, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $135, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $138, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $140, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $143, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $145, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $148, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $150 If the above is rejected you can then take the PRICELINE EXPRESS offer with the discount link and code below. Any questions feel free to ask. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Good luck and let us know how it goes.
