Welcome to BetterBidding!

We will start lower, but you're likely looking at the $120-$140 area to be successful, is this within your expectations? So that we don't suggest a strategy that goes higher than you're willing to pay, what is your maximum bid for this trip?

Also, note that in the CPS is the Hudson Hotel, which while well located, has notoriously small rooms and may be a bit cramped for a one week stay, would this property be an acceptable outcome?

Let us know the above and we'll suggest a strategy for you to follow.

thank you so much for the reply.

My budge is around 100. Max is 125. Do you suggest me to add some more areas?

I got it and I prob not pick the CPS because of the small room.

Or, based on my budge, maybe I should also try the 2.5* ?

Again, thank you

Rates have gone up over the last few days, and there was a PRICELINE discount available a few days ago which has since expired... given these at current prices it's not surprising that your $140 bid was rejected as this is an expensive time of year in NYC.

Using our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com what is the best rate you're able to find for a 2.5* or better hotel in one of the zones you're bidding (try searching '1 mile from Times Square NYC'... then click PRICE at the top of list on the left side to sort by price)?

Is SPLITTING YOUR PRICELINE BID an option?

Congratulations on your success!

Hope you're pleased with the ultimate outcome for this expensive time of year in NYC.

If you're adventurous, this hotel is right around the corner from the famous NYC Chicken and Rice Food Cart if you're want to try some of the local 'street meat'. You want the cart that is there late nite (7:30pm-4am) on the SW corner of 53rd St and Sixth Ave... a nice dose of white sauce and use the hot sauce very sparingly as it's EXTREMELY HOT. May not be the best meal in NYC, but it is likely the best $6 dinner you'll find. Even if you're not interested in trying it, it's worth the walk over to check out the 'scene' as there is almost always a long line surrounding the cart.

Thank you for sharing your win with the board.
