Priceline Hotel: 3* St. Catharines - Niagara (Niagara Falls) Ramada Niagara Falls

I was looking on Hotels..com and figured I might be able to get a bit of a better deal on Price.line. It was almost the same rate I ended up with.

It is part of the Victoria Day long weekend here in Canada, Sun May 18th-Mon May 19th.

 

Started with this bidding:

 

4* Niagara Falls-Fallsview:     $75----declined

   added North Niagara Falls:  $80----declined

   added St Catherines:           $85----declined

   added Welland:                    $90----declined

   added West Niagara Falls:   $95----declined

   added NF- Clifton Hill           $100--declined

 

3.5* Niagara Falls-Fallsview    $75--declined

     added St Catherines:          $80--declined

     added West Niagara Falls:  $85--declined

     added NF-Clifton Hill:          $90--declined

 

3* Niagara Falls-Fallsview:   $75--declined

   added NF-Clifton Hill:        $80---ACCEPTED

 

I stayed at the Ramada Niagara Falls Fallsview winning off of here back in September for two nights. Clean hotel and location is great.

Hotels..com has it for $93 and with taxes $112.44 and bidding with Price.line I got it for $80 and with taxes $102.06. If I booked it direct with Price.line it would have been $93 and with taxes $107.31

I am happy with the hotel but surprised the deal is basically the same.

Again terrific clean hotel, busy too, great location and worth the rate.

Sorry this wasn't more of a deal, but glad to see you're pleased with the hotel and price. A Sunday nite in this area may be a very slow time and the hotel's retail rate may be near the lowest they are willing to accept, and therefore the PRICELINE bid rate is not much lower.
