thereuare Posted April 7, 2014 Report Posted April 7, 2014 This PRICELINE EXPRESS property has not yet been reported to the board, and based upon the hotels you've been seeking/winning for the other aspects of your trip, i'd suggest that if your budget allows, you may want to increase the star rating in New Orleans. My experience here is that there can be a pretty big gap between the quality of the 4* hotels vs. the 3* properties. Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board. Keep us updated on your progress and let us know how we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
Janet Diber Posted April 7, 2014 Author Report Posted April 7, 2014 The price for 4 star on Priceline jumps up to $214US per night...More than we want to spend...might wait a bit longer for this one...
thereuare Posted April 7, 2014 Report Posted April 7, 2014 Keep us updated on your progress... not sure of your plans while in New Orleans, but you may eventually want to consider some properties outside of the French Quarter. Janet Diber Posted April 10, 2014 Author Report Posted April 10, 2014 We are only there for 3 days so prefer to be in the thick of things, that's why we want the French quarter

thereuare Posted April 15, 2014 Report Posted April 15, 2014 I am asking this one for a friend who will be in New orleans on the 8th August for 2 nights...Please start a NEW TOPIC for your friend's stay so that there is no confusion with the hotels/dates of your own trip, and so that if/when a hotel is ultimately won the topic title can be used to reflect the purchase. Also, assuming your friend will be making the purchase herself, please ask her to stop by the board first and either use the search boxes at the top of the board to access PRICELINE / HOTWIRE... or simply click the logos in each to begin her purchase. Thanks. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
