Priceline Hotel: 3.5* New York City (Madison Square Garden - Convention) Hampton Inn Manhattan-Times Square South

I'm going to stay in NYC from 4/11/14 to 4/14/14 and tried some bid and re-bid on Priceline with no success... :(

Searching on Express Deal I found this 2 offers within my budget and preferred location:

 

1) 3,5* Madison Square Garden - Convention -- $177

Rate: 8,0 - Guest Favorite

Restaurant

Business Center

Fitness Center

 

2) 3* Times Square - Theatre District -- $187

No rate

Free internet

Restaurant

Business Center
Fitness Center

Bed Choice Available

 

Any ideas on what hotels these options could be?

A guess for the 3.5* MSG property would be the Courtyard Times Square West, but these amenities are very generic and common for a 3.5* hotel in this zone so it would not be too surprising if it was something different.

My guess for the 3* Times Square property would be the Best Western Plus President Hotel At Times Square.

Which zones and star rating did you try bidding on PRICELINE, and what was your maximum bid thus far?

I was running out time and choose the Extreme Deal for Hampton Inn (39th st) that was within my budget and in the region I used to stay.

My purchase was $202 plus taxes (used the links on board).
