Priceline Hotel: 3.5* Hotel New York- Flusing- Whitestone Area

I want to stay in Sheraton LaGuardia East Hotel, that is 3.5*. I want to know which hotels comes in 3.5* for Priceline bidding in Whiteston Area.

Where as i bid one time $101 and it did not win my any hotel in that area with 3.5*. I am considering re-bidding but please let me know what price should i bid to get Sheraton LaGuardia East Hotel.

You can't bid on a specific hotel when using PRICELINE, you have to be able to accept any hotel in the zone at the star level (or higher) that you choose. With HOTWIRE you can often take an educated guess as to what is being offered based upon the amenities associated with the property, but it's still a 'best guess' and no guarantees you will receive the hotel you're hoping for. As well, in most locations HOTWIRE only shows one hotel at each star level per zone, so there is a chance the hotel you're hoping for isn't the one which is offered for your particular dates.

You can see all PRICELINE hotels reported to the board in the Priceline Hotel List.

What are the dates of your stay? If you're willing to stay in any 3.5* hotel in this zone, what would be your maximum bid for this trip? I will be staying on 4/13 night. I can go max $150. Please let me know my option for 3.5* in Flushing New York...

Before bidding for the above...

Do you need to be in this zone (ie- an overnite layover between flights) and/or will you be visiting Manhattan during this trip?

Rates in Manhattan are not much higher than you have already bid and if you intend to visit the city at all during this stay i would consider staying directly in the city as it will likely offer a more enjoyable stay, give you more time exploring, and increased flexibility in planning your time.

I have to stay in this area only due to a tour i need to take by 7:00. Please let me know which 3.5 hotel i can get? As from hotel list on this website i don't see any hotel for 3.5?

See the message at the top of the Priceline Hotel List... the lists only contain hotels that have been reported to the board. The 3.5* rating may have been recently added to this area (either a previously reported hotel was upgraded OR a new property was added to the system). The Sheraton would certainly be at least one possibility, but there could still be others too.

If you want to move forward bidding for a 3.5* hotel in this zone up to a maximum $150 bid per nite, you can try as follows:

When bidding 3.5* in the NYC Airport region you have FOUR re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.

I am not seeing Sheraton as a list of hotel in provided list, where as in priceline website it is. Would you please confirm what can be reason? as i don't see that in any "*" in your website.

I tried one by one and tried even $151 that also did not won ;-(.... What is the best bid should it try?

Your options come down to:

• raise your budget
• lower your star rating
• consider other zones

I don't the details around your tour (ie- is it for your own pleasure, work or job related, if you need to be alert and participate or just show up and view something, etc, etc) but if it works for your plans i would consider landing, heading straight to your tour, then head to a hotel in Manhattan where you can enjoy the rest of your time in the city before taking a flight back the next day. (the above assumes you're flying in/out of the city but if not clarify your itinerary a bit and we can provide further thoughts)
