AaronJB Posted April 2, 2014 Report Posted April 2, 2014 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)I'd guess the Sheraton TS or Algonquin, but would lean towards the former. Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
thereuare Posted April 3, 2014 Report Posted April 3, 2014 ... and if you haven't yet, please read your messages. I'd agree that the Sheraton New York is the more likely of the two. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. PS- please also include the room rate per nite in your posts as it makes it easier for us to find the same hotel when researching your stay. Thanks. lisasala Posted April 3, 2014 Author Report Posted April 3, 2014 Thank you for the reply..I'm italian and i tried to read all your tips but it's not easy to understand everything. The price for the above area 4 star is 146$Do you think i can try to bid for the same area and same star?At what price?Anyway the area and the stars are guaranteed?
thereuare Posted April 3, 2014 Report Posted April 3, 2014 You can bid for a 4* hotel but if successful no assurance it will be the same property that is offered via PRICELINE EXPRESS. As well, there is currently a discount link and code in my signature for an extra 5% OFF PRICELINE EXPRESS properties, which would bring the cost of this hotel room down to $139/nite. The hotel you receive will be in one of the zone(s) that you selected and at the star rating (or higher) chosen. Given the $146/$139 per nite rate, what would be your maximum bid for a 4* hotel? Is MTW the only zone you're willing to accept? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. lisasala Posted April 4, 2014 Author Report Posted April 4, 2014 Thanks. If with PRICELINE EXPRESS i will pay 139$, with bidding can i have a lower price? Maybe 120 could be possible? What do you suggest me? Even if the hotels are not the same every 4star hotel will be ok. Area mtw, but also mte or central park south or madison square g are ok but maybe are expensive....
thereuare Posted April 4, 2014 Report Posted April 4, 2014 Today is the last day to use the 5% OFF PRICELINE EXPRESS link in my signature so keep that in mind if you decide to bid for this stay. NOTE that the Hudson Hotel is in the CPS and while well located has notoriously small rooms, would this be an acceptable outcome? Please confirm if we should include this zone in a bidding strategy or not and we'll advise accordingly. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. thereuare Posted April 4, 2014 Report Posted April 4, 2014 So to confirm... a 4* hotel in the MTE, MTW, or MSG zone with a maximum bid of $120?
