Priceline Hotel: 4 star Waikiki beach area

Can you please help me identify this hotel. I am hoping it is the Outrigger reef? It is $218 per night on Priceline.express with these amenities:

Free Internet in room

Outdoor Swimming Pool

Restaurant

Business Center

The Outrigger Reef would be a possibility, but with such common amenities, it could also easily be the Hyatt Waikiki, Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach, the Waikiki Park, or some other 4* hotel that offers these amenities (which is most of them)

I am wanting to stay at the Outrigger Reef, any hints on what to look out for?

The Outrigger Reef has not yet been reported to the board thru PRICELINE EXPRESS, so there would be no 'known' amenities to try and look out for. As well, the amenities used by PRICELINE EXPRESS are very generic so it may not be possible to target this property for this trip.

What is it about that the Outrigger Reef that makes you want this specific property?

It comes highly recommended from my sister in law and the couple i am travelling with have already booked their accommodation at this hotel.

You can hold out hope that the Outrigger will eventually be guessed as one of the hotels that is offered for your dates, but i'd speculate that the odds are low.

You can try using our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com and enter the address of the Outrigger (and UNcheck the star rating of hotels you're not interested in staying in to make the map easier to read)... you'll then easily be able to see hotels near this address and decide if there is anything very nearby that could be had for less.

The other option, if your flexible and the room rate your friends have booked is refundable and they have been pleased with the rates you have been getting for the other legs of your trip, is to inquire about two rooms at a different property and then having your friends cancel their current reservation.

From all of my research I am thinking this could be the Outrigger reef on the beach but the 3.5 star is throwing me off a bit...Would love your advise:

You may not be ready to make a decision yet, but if you are, do notice the red 10% discount code in thereuare's signature area.

 

Regarding your thoughts on the Outrigger and the Aston, in Price.line's retail side it carries two Outriggers as 4*s, and the Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel as a 3.5 *.    In the priceline.Express area, the hotels should still bear the same star level, so you couldn't get the 3.5* Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel if you accepted a 4* Express deal.  However there is also the 4* Aston Waikiki Beach Tower, so you could get that if you accepted a 4* Express deal.

 

The current amenities supplied are really general.  They won't be a great basis for the "educated guesses".

PS - To confuse things further, there is even a 3* Outrigger Regency On Beach Walk.

PLEASE change the currency menu on the top right of HOTWIRE's home page and post to the board in US Dollars... it makes it easier for us to find the same hotel when replicating your search, to compare this property to other offers if we see something we think may be a better option, and also makes the price clear in the future as exchange rates change over time.

My best guess for this 3.5* Waikiki Beach PRICELINE EXPRESS property would be the Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel.
