Completed Fort Lauderdale entry. However, That is the most complete amenities listing I get, even with clicking buy now. There are no further details, it simply prompts for credit card info and purchase.

I believe there are still more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links.

... if this is what you're seeing, my best guess for this one would be the Whitehall, upgraded to the 4* level since the last time it was reported to the board.

I am trying to decide on a hotel to book for an upcoming weekend in Chicago. When I click on some of the Hotwire Hot Rate Hotels, it gives me a blue quotation box on top of the listing on the next page, saying "Book soon! The last person got the MileNorth" (for example)

 

Are there multiple properties available under each listing, or is this a hint that is indicative of the hotel I will receive?

The "Last person got ___" info is in relation to the star rating and zone, not the specific hotel being offered to you for the current search.

Looking for something in the Magnificent Mile North area. Love the idea of PUBLIC or The Allerton, or a hotel similar to those. Complimentary breakfast would be a perk but is not necessary (my top two choices don't offer it :) )

I'm seeing what may be the Raffaello for $88 and what is likely the Thompson (which used to be Sutton Place) for $127. Both of which are nice hotels in the same vicinity as the Allerton (the Raffaello is a few blocks from the Allerton and the Thompson is down the street from the Public.) Would either of these be of interest?

Narrowed it down to two seemingly very similar choices. I would like to avoid staying at the Westin Michigan Avenue. 

 

For the dates of 4/17 to 4/20 for 2 adults in the Magnificent Mile North - Water Tower area these are my choices. What are thoughts on what they might be?

Sorry to hear that you got the hotel you were hoping to avoid, but a nice rate for this property (which I've thought was a nice hotel on a previous stay.)
