Garden Grove median price was $139 (and acceptable location), so I started there. Opening bid was $52. REJECTED, but with offer to immediately buy at $67. I knew I could do better. I increased bids by $3 and added in Irvine, Newport Beach and then filler spots (no 3.5* hotels). Crowne Plaza tipped at $61. I've stayed there before, nice place. I know I saved $6 over the buy it immediately, but I feel like I won at Vegas!!! Gotta love the thrill of the bid... :D
