Additionally, any help with a bidding rates for these dates will be greatly appreciated (tried 205$ but with no luck). Thanks!!!
thereuare Posted April 1, 2014 Report Posted April 1, 2014 Welcome to BetterBidding! When i click this PRICELINE EXPRESS offer for more information i get a message that the offer is no longer available, are you still seeing this on your own search and if so, are you able to click thru to the next screen? Is MTE the only zone you're willing to accept, as i think you can get a 4* hotel in the MSG zone, which is usually considered by most to be convenient, for less than you have already bid. thereuare Posted April 1, 2014 Report Posted April 1, 2014 Few comments before moving forward... Note that the Hudson Hotel is currently 4* rated and in PRICELINE's CPS zone. This property is well located, but they have notoriously small rooms (even by NYC standards)... would this be an acceptable outcome? What are your acceptable zones for this stay? Have you only bid CPS thus far? What is your maximum budget per nite (before fees/taxes)? Before taking a $265/nite hotel in the CPS zone would you first try bidding higher on PRICELINE... or before taking a $234/nite hotel would you first try including this zone in your PRICELINE bidding? tomersgl Posted April 1, 2014 Author Report Posted April 1, 2014 Thanks A lot!!!! Regarding Hudson on CPS , it would be quite a disappointment cause the small room, but anyway in PRICELINE the price for CPS 4* is 303$, so I guess only bidding. I have tried bidding on 3 zones CPS, MTE and SoHo - Tribeca with no luck (all on 205$), what is the maximum level you recommend? All 3 zones would be great , MSG less, Max budget is around 250$, I have found at St Gilles the court at 230$ (4* MTE) without any bidding, so wondering if it is better to just take this without any risks, any thoughts anyone familiar with this hotel? Thanks again!
thereuare Posted April 1, 2014 Report Posted April 1, 2014 ...in PRICELINE the price for CPS 4* is 303$, so I guess only bidding. Not sure i understand the above... do you still want to include the CPS zone in your bidding? ...MSG less...Would you only take the MSG zone for less because you don't like the location OR are there hotel(s) in this zone that you're hoping to avoid? I have found at St Gilles the court at 230$ (4* MTE) without any bidding...This property is actually in the ESB zone... would this zone be acceptable as well? Let us know the above and we'll advise further. Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board.
