Maeva Posted March 31, 2014 Report Posted March 31, 2014 I would like to go to NYC again this fall, either end of october or in november (preferred). Are the rates super high at this time of the year? I was browsing on Price.line & Hot.wire and find the prices to be quite high. Last year, I paid $200 for a 4 star hotel (Renaissance) for the end of september. Would like to spend a little less and we're ok with getting a 3* if that means a better price. Any idea if october or november is usually cheaper? Thanks!
thereuare Posted March 31, 2014 Report Posted March 31, 2014 Rates are generally high during both October and November, with rates being date specific as to whether some within the range are higher or lower. If you're looking for lower rates try to come early in August, the Saturday after Thanksgiving (if a short stay), or in December in the week or so before Xmas (or immediately after but before New Year's Eve) Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
