Currently have backup at La Concha. Need two rooms and willing to spend up to $200 per night. Need help bidding. Thx!

If you do not want to stay at a particular hotel, I'd suggest looking into pl Express or HOTWIRE, where you can make an educated guess as to which hotels are showing. Would you have any interested in the Water and Beach Club, the Doubletree by Hilton San Juan, or the Embassy Suites Hotel San Juan? I have booked La Concha at $290 per night for now as backup. so just looking to save what I can at this point while still maintaining an enjoyable 4 day weekend. Looking for good pools and beach with decent bars for midday and end of night close to town. Likely will dine out in town to get a feel for the culture. Leaving the kids at home. Let me know how to best proceed.

I would start by looking at the Water Club and see if this, at $182/nite, would be a good option for your plans. If so, search HOTWIRE for your dates and there should be a 4* hotel in the Isla Verde zone (currently marked as 3 left) with: Free Internet Pet Friendly Boutique Beachfront Smoke Free Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Blind Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ... best guess for this property is the San Juan Water and Beach Club.
