#1: 5* The Strip - South area

Best guess would be Vdara

#2: 4* The Strip - South area

Best guess Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino

#3: 4* The Strip - South area

I'm not certain but New York New York Hotel & Casino or Paris would be a guess.

I stayed at the tropicana about 3 years ago. It was fully renovated in about 2008. It is clean and relatively nice but nothing special. It is not run down like the Imperial Palace or Flamingo. It is in a great location to get to MGM, NY NY, Excalibur and generally reasonably priced. Dollar for dollar it is a pretty good value because of the location and the cleanliness. Mostly it is a place to sleep as you visit the other hotels. It does have an all right pool with swim up blackjack.

I have been through the NY NY hotel numerous times but never stayed there. Rumour has it the pool isn't great and I generally like to have drinks at the pool. One of my favorite places is the dueling piano bar in NY NY. It is a lot of fun. I am pretty sure the rooms are clean and pretty standard shape and size.

Do you think #3 could be the Tropicana Las Vegas? How does Tropicana compare to New York Las Vegas?

No, I don't think this is the Tropicana.

I have never stayed at NYNY so I can't help you there. But I really like the NYNY as a hotel, nice restaurants and interior etc. It's very cool if you ask me. Tropicana feels like the old Vegas for me and I like that.
