It seems I am not getting lucky. According to my researches in BetterBidding, people seem to have found better deals them me. I even tried Priceline - $180.00 for 3* in TS, MTW, MTE and ESB but did not get anything. Thanks again!
AaronJB Posted April 8, 2014 Report Posted April 8, 2014 Are you looking for something in particular in terms of hotel? Rates vary (often noticeably) from day-to-day so what other users are winning for different date/s is not a good indicator. The MSG amenity set above would be a possible match for the Wyndham New Yorker. Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.

thereuare Posted April 11, 2014 Report Posted April 11, 2014 Some suggestions in this area: You're also near my often recommended Ess-A-Bagel (Third Ave at 51st St) which has one of the best bagels in the city, makes for a nice, and relatively inexpensive, breakfast among local NYers. Closer, not as good, but still decent: Daniel's Bagels (Third Ave just b/w 37th St and 39tht St (i think it's between 38th and 39th but i may be off by one block) Jackson Hole Wyoming - (Third Ave at 35th St) one of the best burgers in the city, imo. Service hit-or-miss, but inexpensive by NYC standards and filling enough for dinner or a big lunch Rio Grande - Third Ave at 37th St (west side of Street, look at base of the off-white residential building, as it's not directly on Third Ave)... great (very strong!!) margaritas and good chips/salsa, but eat your meal(s) elsewhere. If you need any other specific advice feel free to ask. Enjoy your stay in NYC. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
