I am looking at booking two 4 Star or higher rooms in the mid town/times square area for the above dates (7 nights) Looking to pay no more than 170 a night. Could someone please suggest a strategy? Is it a benefit booking multiple rooms? Is it better to book closer or further away from the intended dates? Thanks

If you would like to get help with a bidding strategy so please list the zones, by PRICELINE name, you're willing to stay in and we will suggest a strategy for you to follow. Is it a benefit booking multiple rooms? Is it better to book closer or further away from the intended dates?Booking two rooms is likely a non-factor, but if it does have an effect, it is usually a negative one since a hotel would need to have offered at least 2 rooms at their lowest rate (whereas if they only offered one room at the lowest rate, and you bid for two rooms, that hotel would not be eligible to accept your bid and you'd win the hotel with the next best rate). However, as noted, it's usually not a factor and you do want to bid the two rooms together, otherwise you could end up with two different properties. No one can say if the rates will go up/down between now and your stay. Let us know the above and we'll go from there. Please confirm the following: 1) you want to include all zones above in your bidding rather than only MTW and TS 2) note that CPS has the Hudson Hotel, which while well located, has notoriously small rooms, would this be an acceptable outcome? If not, you should remove this zone from the zones you're willing to bid. Let us know the above and we'll advise accordingly.
