mara88 Posted March 24, 2014 Report Posted March 24, 2014 Can't believe how expensive Venice is. Tried the Secret deal on HOTWIRE. Seemed a reasonable price for two nights in Venice for 4 star. Looks like an ok hotel. Would have liked Hotel Carlton but a secret deal is get what you get. The places we liked were $200 more for two nights and they were 3 star! Better had on having nice meals, enjoying the city than sleeping in it. Used Better Bidding as a HOTWIRE link. Has anyone else been there? If so, any advice?

Can you please add a reply to this thread confirming the complete list of amenities associated with this property... you can still view this information by going to HOTWIRE and clicking the MY ACCOUNT link near the top right of their home page. Enjoy your stay. Yellowdog. PS. Please post in USD. Just change the drop down menu on the top right of HOT.WIRE page to United States and the currency dropdown to US Dollars. Then continue to search HOT.WIRE and post to the board in US Dollars. Once you're ready to purchase stay on the US version of their site and simply change the drop down menu to whatever currency you'd like to use and complete your purchase.

That's it. Not a lot to go on. I went on hotwire hotels for other countries on this site and checked out 4 of the 4* listed. So took pot luck as they all said pretty much the same thing.
