Hotwire Hotel: 4* Midtown Atlanta

Used to be the only 4* in Midtown Atlanta was the W.  The Palomar is gone and was taken over by Marriot and is now called The Renaissance.  4* maybe but no pool. The hotel that WAS the Renaissance is now called The Melia 4^ with a outdoor pool.  The rooms used to have private balconies but when the Melia came in the screwed all the sliding glass doors shut.  Not sure if they are considered 4* or 3 1/2* at this time.The Midtown W has a pool but it is not indoor.  So what is this 4 * in Midtown ATL?  Amenities listed are:

Could this be Atlanta's newest hotel The Hyatt Atlanta Midtown? Me thinks so.  If it is,  it's located at the old Hotel Midtown.  I lost a shoe there one night after a Hotwire win.  It was the last night the hotel was open before closing and undergoing the 10 Million dollar renovation that led to it being a Hyatt.

The Hotel Melia is already in the Hotwire Hotel List, we have now made the necessary changes of the Palomar becoming a Renaissance. Please keep in mind that the hotel lists are updated whenever new information is reported to the board... we may not be aware of changes in hotel names/ownership until reported to the board by somebody with local knowledge of the area.

Please follow-up your previous Hotwire Atlanta and Hotwire Buckhead threads with whatever you ended up doing for each of those stays, then reply to this thread and we will have a look at the offer above.
