sjcruiser Posted March 24, 2014 Report Posted March 24, 2014 I'm looking at bidding on three rooms on Priceline for August 15th for one night. i have been over the hotels in the area, and would be satisfied with a two and a half star or three star hotel. What hotels have recently been won in the 2 1/2 star range and at what price? Thanks.
Romelle Posted March 24, 2014 Report Posted March 24, 2014 If you click on "Hotel Lists" up in the header, then "Florida" and "Orlando" on the left side (the Priceline list), and then select the airport MCO zone, you can see the list of reported hotels. To find when they've been reported and the rates, you can do a search by hotel name within the Florida-Priceline are - the white Search box up above on the right. Rates are very date specific though, so even if you find wins near your dates, that doesn't mean your bid will be successful at that level. You might do better, or you might have to bid higher. And of course it is also possible to win a hotel as yet not reported, or one whose star level has been changed, or one that is new to the zone because of a zone boundary change. Romelle
yellowdog Posted March 24, 2014 Report Posted March 24, 2014 In addition to above. If you would like to get help with a bidding strategy so please post your budget/night before tax/fees, zone(s) you're willing to stay in and the star rating for the hotel. Please use the PRICELINE and hot.wire links on the board to begin your purchases and searches. Yellowdog.
