Ang06062 Posted March 24, 2014 Report Posted March 24, 2014 I need help trying to book a stay 4/15- 4/18 in either (order of preference) Midtown West, Times Square, or Midtown East. I was hoping for 4* but my bids aren't being accepted. I have bid up to $185. Am I being unrealistic? Should I wait a little longer or just try a 3.5*? Your advice is greatly appreciated
AaronJB Posted March 24, 2014 Report Posted March 24, 2014 Welcome to Betterbidding. :) For a 4* in these zone/s, unfortunately I think you're looking at at least more along the lines of $225-240 needed for a winning bid. Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
thereuare Posted March 24, 2014 Report Posted March 24, 2014 I will add to the above that you can likely get a 4* hotel in the MSG zone for $195/nite... not sure if you'd rather consider this zone and increase your budget $10/nite for a 4* hotel OR lower your star rating for the 3 zones you're currently bidding (which at current rates looks like it still may be tough to get something at $185/nite or less). Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Let us know your thoughts and we'll take it from there. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
