Priceline Hotel: 3* DC (Silver Spring) Courtyard Silver Spring North

Hi,

I'm looking for a 3*- 3 1/2 in DC for 5/14-5/16.
I've been bidding in the White-House-Downtown and Capitol Hill areas (started from $60 and went all the way up to $100) and have had no luck.

I don't mind staying outside of the city since I'm going to driving there, but really want to keep my budget under $100.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

I'm sorry to say that your budget is to low for any central zone. Current rates are approx $300/night for 3*/3.5* hotels. And it might get difficult to score something under $100 before tax/fee's.

If you look at the PRICELINE map, what zone(s) are you willing to stay in? Would Arlington or Crystal City be ok for you?

I don't mind staying outside of the city since I'm going to driving there...

Keep in mind that traffic in DC can be awful and parking expensive... even if you ultimately stay outside of the city, i would look into taking the metro into the city rather than driving.
