cowpie Posted November 7, 2005 Report Posted November 7, 2005 Recently bid on a 4 star hotel in Amsterdam City Center for 11/2 -11/6. Saw other posts that said they have the Marriott for under 100. Priceline rejected bids at 90, 95 and 100. Date got close and I panicked and accepted the counter offer at 135/night. Was assigned the Renaissance. Hotel was nice, they accepted my rewards number and I was comfortable with the price. However, I wonder if I could have gotten a cheaper rate? Any thoughts?
