Priceline Hotel: 5* Las Vegas (Strip North) Wynn Las Vegas

HI, I want to book a room at a 5-star hotel  from 5/14 to 5/17. The idea area is Las vegas strip north. Priceline has great hotel list in this area. I have tried $140, $150 for one night, but all failed. Should I raise my biding price or I should directly buy the express deal which is $180/per night?

And I also have concerns about the bed choice. We want to book a room with two beds. But I found that the hotels in express deal with bed choice only have one bed requested. And when I check the hotel room rate at their website, the two beds room's rate is higher than the one king bed room's rate. So I want to know is it possible to ask for a two beds room when I check in, if I need to pay extra money for that, how much will it be?

Thank you so much!

Welcome to BetterBidding!

PRICELINE and PRICELINE EXPRESS only guarantees double occupancy, after that is at the discretion of the hotel. While you can call the hotel you win and request a room with two beds, the hotel may not be able, or willing, to honor your request. Whether they will/can or not depends upon a LOT of different factors, including what is available at the time of your check-in, how many rooms with two beds are offered at the hotel and what they need to accommodate other guests for your dates, hotel policy etc. We have seen reports for upgrades in Las Vegas North zone and the price have been $25/night if I recall correct.

I don't follow you here, why have you been bidding for one night when you have a three night stay? I don't think you should take the PRICELINE EXPRESS deal yet if you only have been bidding up to $150. You have so many free zones to use so there might be money to be saved here. We would be happy to offer you a bidding strategy if you like that?

Thank you for your advice. A bidding strategy will be perfect for me. We have never been to there, so we have no idea about the hotels.

The "one night" was a mistake. I should say $150 per night.
