Thekopxx Posted March 19, 2014 Report Posted March 19, 2014 Hi everyone, I need your advice on bidding strategy for 4* hotel in New York. duration of stay 15 April 14 to 18 April 14expected locations are included Midtown East> Midtown West> Time Square I, myself, have been trying for a couple hours and it went bad. I am sure whether my budget is too low to achieve (maximum 180 US$/night). Please advise. Thanks
AaronJB Posted March 19, 2014 Report Posted March 19, 2014 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)What price have you bid up to so far? Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.

Thank you
AaronJB Posted March 19, 2014 Report Posted March 19, 2014 Unfortunately, these date/s are unusually expensive - I think for a 4* in these zones you are likely looking at needing a bid more in the $210-225 range, although if your last failed bid was $190, I'd still try $195, $200, $205 before getting to $210. I'm also seeing what appears to be the Wyndham New Yorker for $212 on Hot.wire - not in the zone/s you have bid on but in a neighboring one. Let us know if that property would be of any interest. Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.

I am now taking into account priceline express as my last resource.
