ericaseiler Posted March 19, 2014 Report Posted March 19, 2014 Looking to travel to NYC Oct 16-19. Am finding rates pretty high (looking basically Midtown Central or Midtown East). I know it is a more expensive time to travel there but I was wondering if you think I'd be better off waiting to book until it gets closer? Thank you!!

AaronJB Posted March 19, 2014 Report Posted March 19, 2014 If this year follows tradition, I would say it's better to book a "good" deal now rather than risk not finding any deals later. Understandably, people want to try and wait out the possibility that prices will fall, but they can certainly go the other way and do so suddenly. Again, there's no way to know for sure - this year may be entirely different - but going on previous years I would say if you see a good deal I'd take it. I wouldn't wait until last minute. Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
