SteveKing Posted March 18, 2014 Report Posted March 18, 2014 Trying to figure out what hotel in San Antonio, in the Riverwalk Area (not Alamo - Riverwalk East) is the 4* for $82 checking in 4/13 and checking out 4/14. Bidding.Helper tells me it has the following "FULL AMENITIES: Pet friendly, Boutique Hotel, Smoke Free Rooms, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, Internet access". Thanks, will be sure to use BB's HOTWIRE link when I book.
thereuare Posted March 18, 2014 Report Posted March 18, 2014 Both the Omni La Mansion del Rio and the Sheraton Gunter have been seen with this amenity set, so either of these would be my best guess for this one. SteveKing Posted March 18, 2014 Author Report Posted March 18, 2014 Huge swing in quality and precise location of hotel... About 3.5 years ago I did snag the Omni for $95 though. Anyone else able to narrow this down? I'd hate to end up at the Gunter.
thereuare Posted March 18, 2014 Report Posted March 18, 2014 Both of the properties above have been reported with this amenity set, so it will be difficult to narrow down with any high degree of confidence. previous HOTWIRE guests give this property a 4.5/5.0 for Location and a 3.5/5.0 for Room Comfort... so if one of these properties has a better location but is also known for small-ish rooms, i would think that one would be more likely, but i'm not local to this area so not sure if this describes one property better/worse than the other. SteveKing Posted March 18, 2014 Author Report Posted March 18, 2014 Sounds like the Gunter. I don't see that place as a $82/night hotel. I'll do a bit more research, and if I find otherwise I'll post up.
