lee71959 Posted March 14, 2014 Report Posted March 14, 2014 Could you help me identify the following 4* hotel in Jersey City/Hoboken with the following amenities? I'm staying 3/27/14 - 4/1/14 and the quoted rate is $102/night. From BiddingHelper.com.com: Free Internet, Pet friendly, Indoor pool(s), Smoke Free Rooms, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, Internet access, Tennis Nearby, Accessible for the blind, Accessible for the deaf, In-room accessibility, Wheelchair accessible, Accessible bathroom, Handicapped parking, Roll-in shower Additionally, its 90% customer recommended on Hotwire and 4.5 on Tripadvisor. My assessment: From the amenities list, it seems that it could be either of the Westin Jersey City or Sheraton Suites Lincoln Harbor. The one thing that makes me think that it may be the Westin is the 4.5 Tripadvisor rating because the Sheraton Suites has a 4 rating on Tripadvisor, but I'm not sure how reliable the Tripadvisor rating (as shown at HOTWIRE.com) is when trying to unmask the hotel. Thanks in advance!
thereuare Posted March 14, 2014 Report Posted March 14, 2014 If you haven't yet, please start by reading your messages2x Then follow-up your previous Hotwire Paris thread with whatever you ended up doing for that trip, then reply to this thread adn we will have a look at and comment on the offer above. Also, are you on the US version of HOTWIRE and is that the room rate before fees/taxes or the all-in rate per nite? If you're on a non-US version of HOTWIRE, please change the drop down menu on the top right of HOT.WIRE's page to United States and the currency dropdown to US Dollars. Then continue to search HOT.WIRE and post to the board in US Dollars so that rates are consistent and not subject to interpretation due to future currency fluctuation. Once you're ready to purchase stay on the US version of their site and simply change the drop down menu to whatever currency you'd like to use and complete your purchase. What is the room rate per nite before fees/taxes? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
lee71959 Posted March 19, 2014 Author Report Posted March 19, 2014 Then I ended up not going to Paris in 2013 due to a change in plans, and I haven't used Hotwire or Priceline since. I use the US version of Hotwire before taxes/fees. You can help or not. I'll use your links or not.
