ddks Posted November 6, 2005 Report Posted November 6, 2005 I need to reserve 5 rooms that will each have 2 adults in Las Vegas. We will check in January 5th and check out January 7th of 2006.Would appreciate any advice in obtaining multiple rooms in high quality accomodations (4 or 5 star).Thanks.
bbbb Posted November 6, 2005 Report Posted November 6, 2005 I am not sure Priceline or Hotwire will work for you. They only allow for booking up to 4 rooms at a time. Rates are very high for your dates and I think that if you did win 4 rooms there would be a good chance that you might not get the 5th room at the same hotel. Would these rooms also need two beds each? Do you have a back up reservation booked already? I would get a back up right away incase rooms don't open up closer to your dates and rates don't drop. Let us know if you want to move forward with this bid.
ddks Posted November 7, 2005 Author Report Posted November 7, 2005 1. Two beds are not necessary. One bed will work fine.2. I do not have a back-up. I will proceed to book 5 rooms immediately. Any ideas better than Travelocity to do this?3. Should I abandon the bid idea? I do need all 5 rooms in the same hotel.Thanks.
bbbb Posted November 7, 2005 Report Posted November 7, 2005 If you need all 5 rooms in the same hotel I would not use PL or Hotwire unless it was for 5*. If you see a 5* @ a good rate on Hotwire you could book a single room by booking direct with the Venetian and cancel it after you get 4+1 on hotwire or PL.
