Hotwire Hotel: 3* Denver (Greater Downtown) Hilton Garden Inn Denver Downtown

Could someone help me identify the 3* downtown Denver hotel on Hotwire with the amenities below, which is 100% recommended?  I want to be close to the Convention Center and/or the Hyatt Regency where my convention is meeting.  It looks like this might be the Hilton Garden Inn because of the indoor swimming pool, which would be good spot for my family to stay instead of the Hyatt Regency rooms for $205/night (queen and double bed, compared to a likely king and queen sofa sleeper at the Hilton Garden Inn).

Also, could anyone comment on whether I should buy now and pay $127 per night (2 adults plus 2 children), or wait for a better price in a month or two or three?  I saw a January 2014 post on this forum where someone got the Hilton Garden Inn for May 2014 stay for $79.  That was 4 months out, and I am now approaching 3 months out.  Any suggestions on whether I should pull the trigger now or wait?

I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links.

If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities then what you have listed above?

--> if this is what you're seeing my best guess for this one would be the Hilton Garden Inn Denver Downtown.

While nobody can say if rates will come down, or move higher between now and your trip, this does seem to be a very nice discount vs. a conventionally booked room. Also, beside price risk, the other risk is availability... this property could disappear and be replaced by something more expensive, not as well reviewed, and/or not as well located for your family's needs this trip. Lastly, rates are date specific and the previous win at $79/nite was more likely due to it being a slow time for the hotel and low occupancy, not necessarily the length of time before arrival.

Used HOTWIRE link to pay $127/night, plus $82.24 tax & fees, for total of $463.24.
