Priceline Hotel: 4* Detroit (Dearborn) The Henry, Autograph Collection

Used betterbidding [url=http://www.betterbidding.com/clicks/click.php?afsrc=1&id=40]PRICELINE[/url] link.  Started at $56 for 4* and got denied.  Added a free zone Allen Park at $71 got denied, added another free zone Taylor @ $80 and won.

 

I knew I would get this hotel over the "The Dearborn Inn, A Marriott Hotel" because The Henry has free internet and The Dearborn does not and Price.line showed the free wifi link in it's amenities.  At the time of my booking these were the only two 4* hotels in Dearborn.

 

It's a nice choice as it is close to the Fairlane Town Center mall for shopping and restaurants.  Area is safe compared to 4* hotels in downtown Detroit IMHO.

Glad to see this worked out well for you, but for the future note that the guaranteed amenities shown on the bidding side of PRICELINE are amenities that are offered at every hotel in the zone, not amenities at a specific hotel that you're going to be bidding on... at this point in the bidding process, PRICELINE hasn't even checked inventory for your dates.

The Marriott does offer Free Internet in public areas and that is all that is required to show the 'Free Internet' amenity, which is why it is shown as a guaranteed amenity..
