zebrum Posted March 11, 2014 Report Posted March 11, 2014 7.30pm night before, Hotwire was showing a 4* USE for $120 for the 2 nights and $113 for 1 night. So subtracting the usual 20% hotwire premium I came up with the bid of $92 and added a dollar since I was wanting 2 nights. Instead of an instant response I got "Thank you for your patience. We're still looking for a hotel room at your price and should have an answer for you within 15 minutes. Click on the button below to get your answer." and then about 5 mins later got the bid accepted. What I think might have happened is $92 was enough for the first night but they had to check with the hotel to see if they would allow a second night at the slightly lower price and I suppose they agreed. I've done single nights yesterday and today so looking forward to 2 nights in the same hotel for a change.
