yellowdog Posted March 7, 2014 Report Posted March 7, 2014 If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you also see Internet Access listed among the amenities? (in addition to the FREE INTERNET amenity) Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your purchases and searches. Yellowdog.
thereuare Posted March 7, 2014 Report Posted March 7, 2014 If you're also seeing the Internet Access amenity, my best guess for this one would be the Best Western Convention Center Hotel or the Comfort Inn Times Square. Gustavo CP Posted March 7, 2014 Author Report Posted March 7, 2014 Yes, it does show Internet Access. I tried looking for "Best Western Convention Center Hotel or the Comfort Inn Times Square" on Booking and the first one is sold out there. Does it means that the best guess would be Comfort Inn? Thanks a lot for the prompt answer!
thereuare Posted March 8, 2014 Report Posted March 8, 2014 We have seen hotels won even when their own websites were showing sold-out, so the fact that a 3rd party website isn't showing availability does not exclude that hotel from the possibilities; the odds to go down greatly, but it is still a possibility. The Best Western is offered HERE for $642/nite, and with hotel selling on its own for this price i would think the chances are low that they would offer rooms thru the opaque providers for the mid-$100's, so i do think the odds are reduced of this being the Best Western, but you sill have to be open to it has a possibility. Also, there are not that many amenities shown for this property, so it could be some different hotel entirely... there are certainly other hotels in NYC that offer a free breakfast and internet access (which is really what the amenities above come down to) Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Gustavo CP Posted March 10, 2014 Author Report Posted March 10, 2014 Guys, I ended up getting a hotel through another website, knowing which hotel to get by the same price with free parking. Thanks a lot for the help and I'll probably still need help because I'm doing a road trip from north carolina back and forth. Best regards,Gustavo
