I need help identifying a 5 Star Hotel in barcelona.

2 Nights - 4/25/14 - 4/27/14 - $251

Luxury hotel with a pool

Port Olympic - Barceloneta area

Amenities:

Near Beach

Fitness Center

Pool(s)

Restaurant(s)

Business Center

Self service laundry

Spa Services

Accessible for the blind

This hotel typically charges guests a resort fee of about €2.25 per person per night.

I would love to stay the W hotel or Pullman skipper hotel.

and I still have almost 2 months left. When should i book a hotel?

To begin, need to clarify a few points of your post(s):

Is this for the same trip as your other Hotwire Barcelona thread and still an 'open' trip and you haven't yet won a hotel for this stay... or is the other thread for a different set of dates and you won the W Hotel Barcelona for the other set of dates?

As the request above is for two different sets of dates, are your plans not yet firm, flexible in that either set of dates is acceptable, or will you be in the area for both sets of dates and need a room for each?

I believe there may have been more amenities than you listed in your post. HOTWIRE has a new interface which is not currently showing the complete set of amenities at the usual point of the search process.

Nobody can say if rates will come down, or move higher, between now and your stay.

However, if the guess above is correct, this is one of the hotels you are hoping for, and this is a good deal, i would lock it in now. Besides the risk of the price changing, the other risk is that this hotel disappears from the search results entirely, and is replaced with a different hotel you may not be trying to target or that you don't like as much.

Assuming the guess above is correct, it appears that the W Hotel is $412/nite for your dates, so i would think the $250 rate would be a good deal, imo.
