Andrea& Posted March 1, 2014 Report Posted March 1, 2014 I am looking for a room in NYC for the dates of May 22-25. I have tried bidding before but just not at an expensive place like New york (Not to mention may is one of the busiest time in NY....) We would prefer a room in MSG, because it's close to Penn station and we have two large cases to carry around. Areas like MTW which is near to the station also works! 2*-4* would all work for us, plus we don't have any amenities requirement. Our only preference except for location would be price.... I noticed that some of the low prices winning bid are booked right before the check-in time, so should I wait until April to bid? Or should I frequently check express deals? Any suggestions are welcomed. Thanks!!
thereuare Posted March 1, 2014 Report Posted March 1, 2014 Welcome to BetterBidding! If you haven't yet, please start by reading your messages. Nobody can say if rates will come down, or move higher, between now and your stay, but keep in mind that current wins are for the winter months (low season) and hotels are more likely to have lower demand and more empty rooms they are trying to fill.. whereas your travel dates are more in the busier season and there will be greater demand and less inventory available. What is your expected budget for this trip? (per nite before fees/taxes) Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
