ohamanda
PRICE.LINE 4.5 star hotel in Portland, OR (downtown) Dates: 3/21 through 3/23 Amenities: Pet friendly, Restaurant, Fitness Center, Free Internet, Business Center I started my bid as low as $50 a night and have been rejected all the way up to $100/night. I’d really love to stay at Hotel Monaco. I don’t know what hotels are 4.5 stars in Portland. Any ideas?? Link to comment
AaronJB
Welcome to Betterbidding. :)Unfortunately, I'm not sure what the 4.5*'s may be in this case, as there are no 4.5*'s showing on the retail side of the service (the Monaco is a 4*, for example and there is one 5*.) What would be your desired budget per night for this stay? Based on the rate/s that I'm seeing on Hot.wire, a 4* will likely take over $100 and quite possibly a bit over $125. yellowdog
4* HOTWIRE hotel. I believe there may have been more amenities than you listed in your post. HOTWIRE has a new interface which is not currently showing the complete set of amenities at the usual point of the search process. Please run a new search using our BiddingHelper.com tool at the top of this page. Once the search is completed, use the EASY VIEW TAB and click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing to view the complete set of amenities. Then copy and paste the amenities in a reply to this thread and we will then have a look at this offer. Please use the PRICELINE and hot.wire links on the board to begin your purchases and searches. ohamanda
I wanted to stay downtown; some place fun and swanky; some place new, I really hoped for Hotel Monaco. Unfortunately I got The Westin for $140. Not a bad hotel, but it's more business and not very "surprise birthday weekend." Learned my lesson using Price.line I guess. Hot.wire had a 4* for $147 same dates. Originally I only searched for Downtown (4*) but after 10+ failed attempts, I started adding more locations. The only location I didn't add was "south waterfront downtown" because I didn't want to get stuck too far south from everything. Now I'm wondering if I should have included it. Oh well.
