Priceline Hotel: 2* Phoenix (West) La Quinta Inn Phoenix - Arcadia

A buddy and I were heading into to Phoenix for mlb pre-season and NASCAR and we got trapped into this:

 

amenities: Complimentary breakfast, free Wi-Fi and an outdoor pool, pet-friendly

 

I reviewed the amenities on PRICELINE and thought were getting the La Quinta Inn (great reviews) off McDowell and 51st st. (where all the hotels are).

 

I got the La Quinta on Thomas Road by the 17 fwy (all bad reviews).

I booked using the PRICELINE links from this site. I also tried to research this site but there were no solid entries for this region

 

this is by no means a win, but just as well I'd like to warn others on this site about this trap
