Priceline Hotel: Suggestions??

Looking for a romantic nite in Chicago at a 4 star hotel. Would be willing to pay up to $175/nite. Can you direct me? Hopefully some time in November, even this weekend! :)

Without exact dates, I can't make specific recommendations, as prices vary sharply in Chicago, depending on date. However, hotels I'd consider romantic:

Hotel Indigo, in the Gold Coast. Great neighborhood, near Michigan Ave. Lots of nice restaurants nearby.

Talbott Hotel, just off Michigan Ave.

Amalfi

Swissotel.

Maybe the Omni Ambassador East.

Maybe either of the W's.

There are a lot of nice hotels around the downtown besides these, but many of them are not what I'd call romantic.
