Hi, I'm looking for a one night hotel in Miami Airport area as a pre-cruise stay for 4/04/14 (4 adults, 1 room). Hot wire showing a two stars ** hotel with the following amenities for $96:

 

FULL AMENITIES: Free Parking, Free Breakfast, Free Internet, Airport Shuttle, Pool(s), Self service laundry, Tennis Nearby, In-room accessibility

 

Will you be able to ID this hotel, much appreciated! I will report result & use link for booking.

A property with this amenity set has not yet been reported to the board, but ht Extended Stay America - Miami - Airport - Blue Lagoon or the Extended Stay America - Miami - Airport - Miami Springs would be my best guess for this one.

Ok, thanks for the suggestion. I think I can eliminate the Blue Lagoon since that property has no pool. However, a further checking around show Extended Stay America Miami Airport areas has 4 properties: 1 in Miami Springs/ 3 in Doral (3 properties: 7750 NW 25th Street,Miami, FL 33122 /8655 NW 21st Terrace,Miami, FL 33122 /8720 NW 33rd St.,Miami, FL 33172). So looks like this is a tough one to figure out!

HOTWIRE shows a 3.5 TA rating for this 2* offer, and each of the above that are crossed off do not, so i think you can eliminate those as possibilities.

Please ID PRICELINE EXPRESS 3 Star Hotel in Miami Downtown Area for $115/night

Looking for a 1 night stay in Miami downtown for April 4, 14. Family of 4 (2 adult children). Bed choice is offer so I will pick the 2 bed option, assuming the worse case is to pay extra for 2 extra person but I should get 2 beds, correct? Three stars, Guest score is 7.0. The amenities are:

• Free Breakfast
• Free Internet
• Indoor or Outdoor Pool
• Restaurant
• Business Center
• Fitness Center

My guess for this 3* PRICELINE EXPRESS property would be the Springhill Suites Miami Airport East/Medical Center (with a distant secondary guess of the Marriott Hotel Beaux Arts Miami)

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm also trying to figure out a one star * property showing up in Hotwire for Midtown Miami for $65, here are the info:

Amenities Include: Free Breakfast, Free Parking, Internet access, Pool(s), Pet friendly, Business Center

FULL AMENITIES: Free Parking, Free Breakfast, Pet friendly, Boutique Hotel, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, Internet access

 

The Hotwire hotel listing only showing one hotel: Miami Sun Hotel but the amenities do not match, appreciate any suggestion you may have. Again, this is for 4/4/2014 for one night (4 in a room). Thanks again.

This listing has not yet been ID'd/reported to the board, but I'd be very concerned with a property that gets a very low 15% approval rating from Hot.wire customers and a 2.5/5 tripadvisor rating.

You're right, 15% is kind of low. One other option I found is a 1* on Priceline.Express:

1 Star Hotel in Miami Beach Area for $80/night

Guaranteed Amenities:

• Free Internet in room
• Outdoor Swimming Pool
• Restaurant

My guess is probably one of the following 3 possibilities:

-Howard Johnson Plaza Miami north

-Days Inn /Suite Miami North Beach

-Days Inn Oceanside

I don't have a guess for this 1* property, but i do think you're playing with fire in this zone (or any beach zone) at the 1 star level... not to mention increasing your taxi expenses by staying in this zone (vs. the airport or downtown zone)

Ok, thanks for the advise. I finally use Priceline bidding using your PRICELINE link and got the 3* downtown Miami for $105 ($127.44 total). It was Springhill Suites Airport East Medical Center.
