spicedrum Posted February 22, 2014 Report Posted February 22, 2014 3* / MI - Grand Rapids (Grand Rapids) / Holiday Inn Grand Rapids Downtown 3 nights @ $108 each in November Guaranteed Amenities shown on Priceline.Express before booking: Free Internet in room Indoor Swimming Pool Free Parking Pets Allowed Restaurant Business Center Fitness Center I wanted to make sure I got a room for Grand Rapids Comic-Con (way off in November) that was relatively near the Deltaplex but also walkable to Downtown for the evenings, so I booked super early. I opted for PRICELINE EXPRESS using the board [url=http://www.betterbidding.com/clicks/click.php?afsrc=1&id=40]PRICELINE[/url] link, of course! ;-) ] because the price that was offered and the info from a forum post from December that listed the same amenities made me 99.9% sure it was the HIGRD; I didn't want to bid or use Hotw.ire and take the chance of being put outside of the Downtown area. The cheapest rate for this hotel anywhere else was $138, so visiting Better Bidding saved me $90 that I can instead spend on fun stuff at the Con. :D Thank you to all the people who post here!
