Priceline Hotel: Radisson - downtown Miami

I stayed at the Radisson- downtown Miami for a pre- cruise back in March 2004. I got it for $35 on Priceline after reading how many other folks were getting that hotel when putting in the appropriate stars and zone were getting it for a bid of $35. Except for it not being in the nicest neighborhood and the service in their resturant being very slow, the hotel was ok and the price was right. I am going on another cruise and will need a hotel for March 26th for one night. I was wondering if anyone else had gotten this hotel for sometime around March 2006 and if so, what the bid was. Any information would be helpful.

Thanks,

Jerry

Jerry just got this pre-cruise tonight for $70 for 12/3! I jumped previously denied $62 to $70 on next re-bid and was accepted. So I possibly could have gotten it for a little less, but was tired of rebidding! Good luck! Prices have increased in Miami, esp. since hurricanes. Holly

Carni thanks for your reply. I made a mistake when I said the service for the resturant was slow. Actually it was at another hotel I had stayed at in miami that the service was slow. This hotel was just fine. I ended up with a mini suite which I didn't even ask for.

Just before dinner I was in the lobby and a hotel guest came up to me and handed me a coupon for $75 for food and beverages for that hotel. She had been given the coupons by the airlines she used. She said she was leaving and had no need for the coupon.

So after paying $35 per night for 2 nights for my room through Priceline I got to eat for free along with a few brews.

Sometimes life IS fair.
