Priceline Hotel: Help id'ing a hotel - river north area

Looking for some help id'ing a hotel. Staying in the river on feb 21 - 23.

looking at a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal for $108 on a 4.5 * hotel

amenities include:

Free Internet in room

Pets Allowed

Restaurant

Business Center

Fitness Center

OR should I change my parameters and look try name your own price?

I'm willing to spend more.

What are your needs/goals for this trip? Is it important for you to have a guess as to hotel you may receive before your purchase OR are you willing to take a bit more of the unknown for a slightly lower price?

I definitely want to have an idea of what I'm getting myself into.

Any of the 4.5* properties reported to the board in the Priceline Hotel List would be a possibility, but i would lean toward the Ivy or The James as the most likely of the bunch (but you need to be prepared for any 4.5* in the zone as none of the amenities are very descriptive and apply to most higher end hotels in the city).

While you could receive a new 4.5* hotel not yet reported to the board, would you be comfortable with any of the 4.5* properties listed in the hotel list linked above at ~$100/nite?

All of the current possibilities at the 4.5* level are - I think - nice, although the Intercontinental does get some mixed reviews. I think it's a nice property with a very neat history in a great location. It's probably the "lesser" of the bunch at the 4.5* level, but I think it's still a fine hotel - especially at the right price. The other 4.5*'s - the James, the Ivy and the Conrad - are all quite nice. I see what may be the Ivy for $104 (the price you see may vary slightly) on HOTWIRE. Let us know if that would be of interest.
