Hello All,

This will be my first time visiting Chicago and I am not sure what area would be a good area to get a hotel in to get the best Chicago feel? Any ideas before i start muy search?

Welcome to Betterbidding. :)

PRICELINE zones downtown:

Millennium Park/Loop/Grant Park - closer to museums. Millennium Park, Art Institute. Some shopping, some restaurants. Some areas do get quiet at night.

River North-NMA - North of the River. Includes the restaurant/nightlife-heavy River North and Gold Coast areas, as well as Michigan Ave. shopping.

On HOTWIRE, the Millennium Park/Loop/Grant Park area is split into the Loop/Theater District zone and the Downtown-Grant Park-Millennium Park zones. The River North-NMA area is split into the Mag Mile-River North, Mag Mile-Water Tower and the Gold Coast areas.

If you are going to be out at night, I'd stay North of the river.

Unfortunately, this is an expensive time in the city - what would be your desired budget per night for this stay?
