CiaraN6 Posted February 13, 2014 Report Posted February 13, 2014 HelloI'm looking for a hotel in the Philadelphia area. Preferably in the PHL Airport Area, Convention center- Mid Center City, University Area, or the RittenHouse square area. I'm only looking to spend between 35-50 dollars. So I'm wondering what star level and area I should be focused on. My travel date is 02-15/02-16 so I'm pressed for time. If someone could get back to me I would greatly appreciate it. I'm new to PRICELINE and HOTWIRE.Thanks !
thereuare Posted February 13, 2014 Report Posted February 13, 2014 Welcome to BetterBidding! If you haven't yet, please start by reading your messages. Are you willing to spend more for a higher rated hotel OR is your goal the lease expensive as possible hotel? If you're willing to pay more for a nice property i would start at the 3* level and then if rejected re-try at the lower star levels. You can start with the following at the 3* level, if that is rejected close the browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINE, and re-try with the next lowest star rating, and so-on...Select 3* Airport...Bid $30, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINE...Select 3* Convention Center...Bid $30, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINE...Select 3* University...Bid $30, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINE...Select 3* Rittenhouse...Bid $30, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINE...Select 3* Airport and Convention Center...Bid $35, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINE...Select 3* University and Rittenhouse...Bid $35, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINE...Select 3* Airport and University...Bid $40, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINE...Select 3* Convention Center and Rittenhouse...Bid $40, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINE...Select 3* Airport and Rittenhouse...Bid $45, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINE...Select 3* Convention Center and University...Bid $45, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINE...Select 3* Airport, Convention Center, University...Bid $48, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINE...Select 3* Airport, Convention Center, Rittenhouse...Bid $48, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINE...Select 3* Airport, Convention Center, University, Rittenhouse...Bid $50 I'll also add that if you're willing to stretch your budget a bit, or if $50 is rejected at the 3* level and you're willing to pay a little more for a nice hotel, PRICELINE EXPRESS has a $67/nite hotel room offered in the Airport zone with:Free Internet in room Outdoor Pool Pets Allowed Restaurant Airport Shuttle Business Center Fitness Center ... using the link and code in my signature brings this down to $60/nite room rate, and although a little more than your ideal budget, may be nicer and a better value than a 1* or 2* hotel for $10-$15 less (but not sure how firm your budget is)Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you decide to do for this stay or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
