Hotwire Hotel: Looking for Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress, LBV, Orlando

Hi,

I am looking for 1 room for Feb 25th to March 1st 2014 in Hyatt-Regency Grand Cypress in Orlando. I have booked with success a few times in the past but not in the last couple of years

Do you know if HOTWIRE use this hotel.

Hotwire 4Star Resort LBV orlando.

I used to book it through PRICELINE when they had the Resort feature. The results I get on PRICELINE EXPRESS do not match up to the hotels $25/night resort fee. Do you know if this Hotel is still on the radar for either HOTWIRE or PRICELINE?

In the past I have booked the hotel for $90/night plus resort fee around this same time of year.

Any advice on how to proceed would be appreciated.

There is no 'announcement' if/when a hotel stops participating with either service, and sometimes hotels go months/years without being reported to the board, then they suddenly re-appear frequently (and vice versa, sometimes being frequent winners and then going silent for a time being).

If you use the search box on the lower right corner of the blue head at the top of the board, enter 'Grand Cypress', and change the drop down menu to QUICK SEARCH you will see all reported wins to the board for this specific property, the last of which being:

May 2013: Hotwire hotel purchase

April 2013: Priceline hotel purchase

For the HOTWIRE property above my best guess for this one would be the Sheraton Vistana Resort... for the PRICELINE EXPRESS property i see this listing, but when i click on it i get a message that it is no longer available.

Are you open to other properties are only specifically want the Hyatt Grand Cypress?

It was so easy to book before in the past the kids think we are going there now,its got so many activities around the resort. I just used PRICELINE chat and they said that it isn't currently listed as available for the dates. It has free Par 3 golf which has been great for the kids to play, I don't see that anywhere else in the area.

I guess I will have to consider other hotels, the retail price is $389 right now plus resort fee and taxes per night, NO CHANCE of that being paid.

I guess the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress is sold out for my dates.

I am going to bid on Name Your Price on a 4.5 star in Lake Buena Vista. Its the only 4.5 star listed. Any idea what it could be?

The 'guaranteed amenities' shown by PRICELINE on the bidding side of their service are amenities that are offered at every hotel in the zone at that star level, not a specific hotel that you're bidding on. In fact, at this point of the bidding process, PRICELINE hasn't even checked available inventory for your dates, so the amenities are more so letting you know amenities that are guaranteed since every hotel in the zone at that star rating has those amenities, not of a hotel that PRICELINE knows is available and that you're going to be bidding on.

You can use our Priceline Hotel List to see what hotels have previously been reported to the board in this zone and star level, but also note the comments at the top of the hotel list indicating that new hotels can be added at any time and other hotels can be upgraded/downgraded since last reported.

Still looking tried all the way from $120 to $185 for 4.5 star in LBV, no luck, that was Wed night, it seems a lot of hotels are booked out for my dates on their websites.

What hotel is it that you're trying to target by bidding on PRICELINE at the 4.5* level... the Hyatt Grand Cypress is currently rated 4 star by PRICELINE.
